This tool provides a suite of support services to meet your certification program needs including Instant Answers, Program Updates and the ability to manage your support cases online.

The discount code and CSCO information you input when registering online for a Cisco certification exam online must exactly match the details in the “Cisco Exam Discount Information” email you received. If you verified the information you entered is correct and you still do not see the discounted price, contact Pearson VUE for assistance. You will need to provide them with some details from your “Cisco Exam Discount Information” email, so be sure to have it available when contacting them.

Your discount information can be found in your Cisco NetAcad profile. Click your name in the upper-right corner and select “Discount Vouchers”. Scroll down and click “Voucher Details” to view information regarding your discount.

There are several things you can do to ensure you will receive the verification email:

  • Check your spam/junk folder (it may have been filtered there)
  • Ensure your email will accept emails from cisco-exam-promotions@cisco.com
  • Verify your email address is listed correctly in your profile
  • After completing the above, click the “Resend Email” located on your “Discount Vouchers” tab. Within 24 hours, you will receive a new verification email.

Exam Booking FAQ

    1. Log into your account at Pearson VUE.
    2. Select Proctored Exams and enter the exam number, 200-301.
    3. Follow the prompts to register.

The quickest way to locate a Pearson VUE testing center is to use their Test Center Locator. After entering your country and city, you will see a list of all Pearson VUE authorized test centers in the area that offer the exam (you may need to scroll down to see results).

To make changes to personal information of your Pearson VUE account, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to your testing program landing page
2. Click “Sign In”
3. Enter your Pearson VUE username and password
4. Click on “My Profile” (under the “My Account” menu)
5. If your program allows you to edit your account information, you will see an “Edit” option to the right of the information you wish to change
       •    For security reasons, some fields may need to be updated by Pearson VUE or by your testing program
       •    If you are unable to update your personal information online, you will receive a message regarding who to contact to update your information

There are a couple of reasons your promotion code isn’t being accepted by Pearson VUE.

  • Multiple CSCO records in the system: Contact Cisco Certification and Communities Online Support to request that they merge your records and proceed with processing your discount. You will receive an email from Cisco that provides your merged CSCO ID information. When you receive the email, you can log in to Pearson VUE to confirm the merged profile.
  • Networking Academy ID: Make sure your Networking Academy ID (Academy Connection ID) matches your NetAcad profile.


If you continue to experience issues, contact Pearson VUE Support. Please provide the following information:

  1. Your name
  2. Your CSCO ID
  3. Email address with which you requested your discount
  4. Exam name
  5. Promotion code

To register for a Cisco certification exam at a Pearson VUE test center, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your account at www.pearsonvue.com/cisco using a Pearson VUE username and password
    • If you have registered with Pearson VUE before, DO NOT create a new account (duplicate Pearson VUE accounts will delay your voucher processing)
    • Candidates who do not have a username and password can create a web account at the time of registration
  2. Click “Additional Information” located under “My Account” and enter/check your Networking Academy ID (NetAcad ID)
  3. Click “Save and Continue”
  4. Click the blue “Proctored Exams” icon and follow instructions to continue with registration

Please note: If the details of your discount information are incorrect, or you need assistance registering for a certification exam, contact Pearson VUE.

  3. Once you have done that, on the next page you will get and option “Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (Certificate)” for $0.0 dollars
  4. Select that and place an order.

 Your order will then reflect in the Fulfillment tab.
